One team, so nothing falls between vendors.

Planorah Technologies is a small software studio in Ludhiana, working with clients across India. We build the website, the app, the TV app and the system behind them — which means there is no seam where one vendor's work stops and the next one's excuse begins.

Why the studio exists

Most businesses have already paid for software that half works.

A web agency built the site. Somebody's cousin built the app. A third company set up the billing system, and a fourth manages the Google listing — or nobody does. Each piece works on its own terms. None of them talk to each other.

So the same order gets typed in twice. The price on the website is a week behind the price at the counter. The app has a feature the website does not, and neither matches what the staff actually do. When something breaks, every vendor is confident the problem is on someone else's side, and the business ends up as the unpaid project manager between three companies that have never spoken.

Planorah exists because that gap is where the real cost sits. Design, web, mobile, TV and the systems work sit in one team, so the catalogue the website reads is the same catalogue the app reads and the same one the kiosk reads. There is one number to call, and by the time you call it we already know which side it broke on.

Where we are, and who we work with

We are based in Ludhiana in Punjab and work with clients across India — retail groups, clinics, institutes, logistics operators, restaurants and a streaming service. Most projects run remotely on a weekly rhythm: a short call at the start of the week, a build link you can open by the end of it. For clients in and around Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar we come in person for the parts that need it — kiosk installations, staff training, the first week after a launch.

Small on purpose

We take on a handful of projects at a time. The people who scope your project are the people who build it and the people who sit through the training session on handover day. Nobody is passed to an account manager after the invoice, and no part of the job is quietly subcontracted to someone you have never met.

What we will not do

We do not bill by the hour for a scope we already agreed in writing. We do not sell retainers for work we cannot describe. And we do not hold anyone's code, hosting or accounts hostage — if you want to move to another studio in a year, everything you need to do that is already in your own accounts from the day we hand over.

The team

Three sides of the same small team.

We describe the studio by what each part does rather than by job titles, because on a project this size the same people carry a piece of work from the first sketch to the store release.

DE

Design & experience

Flows · prototypes · design systems

Decides what a screen is for before deciding what it looks like. This part of the team maps the flow, puts clickable screens on your phone in the first week, and keeps one set of components running across the website, the app and the TV build so the whole thing reads as one company. It also handles the awkward screens most projects skip — empty states, errors, and what a remote control can reach.

Engineering

Web · mobile · TV · integrations

The build side. Front end, back end, native modules, store releases, and the plumbing between systems — payments, WhatsApp Business API, accounting and ERP. They write the code that gets handed to you at the end of the project, which is the main reason it is written to be read by somebody else: plain structure, real names, and a README that assumes you have never seen it.

DL

Delivery & support

Scoping · launches · handover

The part of the studio you speak to most. They turn a WhatsApp message into a written scope and a fixed quote, keep the weekly build link moving, run the app store submissions and the Google listings, and sit through the training session on handover day. After launch they are the ones who answer, and they know your project rather than a ticket number.

How we operate

Four rules we do not bend.

None of this is complicated. It is simply the list of things that go wrong most often when a business hires a software studio, written down as promises instead.

A fixed quote, in writing

You get a written scope, the platforms it covers, a price and a launch date before we write a line of code. If you want something outside that scope later, we re-quote it in writing before anyone starts. Nobody finds out what a project cost by reading the invoice.

Working software every week

From the first week there is a live link, not a status report — something you can open on your own phone or television, click through and send notes back on. It means the hard conversations happen in week two, when changing direction is cheap.

Everything handed over

Source code in your repository, hosting and domain in your account, store listings under your own developer account, and a recorded walkthrough for your team. Nothing important stays behind a login that only we hold.

Plain language, always

No stack names where a sentence will do. We tell you what something costs, how long it takes and which parts we are not sure about yet. If a request is a bad idea, you hear that before you pay for it rather than afterwards.

Common questions

Working with us.

The four questions we are asked before almost every project starts. There are more on the FAQ page.

Send your requirement on WhatsApp or by email — a paragraph about the problem is enough, and you do not need a specification. We reply with the handful of questions that actually change the price, then send a written scope, a fixed quote and a launch date, usually within two working days. Nothing is charged until you accept that quote.

Yes. Most of our work runs remotely with clients across India on a weekly rhythm — a short call at the start of the week and a build link you can open by the end of it. We travel for the parts that genuinely need someone in the room, such as kiosk installations, staff training or the first week after a launch. Timezone is rarely an issue within India, and we keep Friday afternoons free for client calls.

You do, from the first commit. The repository, hosting, domain, Google properties and app store accounts are created in your name at the start of the project, not transferred at the end, and you get full access on handover day along with a recorded walkthrough. If you decide to work with another studio next year, nothing has to be rebuilt, unlocked or asked for.

Thirty days of fixes are included — anything that does not work the way the scope said it would, we fix at no cost. After that you can leave the software as it is, call us when you want a change, or put us on a small monthly arrangement for updates, monitoring and store releases. There is no lock-in on any of those options, and you can stop a monthly arrangement whenever you like.
